Alcohol or smoking knows its way to finding people when they are at their happiest and saddest. You are better than this. Avoid such Self-Destructive Behaviours as they can be a big risk to your future. Instead of looking on the brighter side and healing from your job loss, it will rather keep you down and worsen your health as well. It may be tempting to smoke or drink whiskey to drown your sorrows, but definitely not over the risk to your health and future. 

Don’t give up

No matter how depressing and lost it feels at the current moment, your life can be much bigger and better than this. It is time for you to move forward. Update your CV, and look on the brighter side that you have additional relevant experience spanning a few months or years. Include it on your CV and go job hunting. Apply for more suitable jobs and ask your connections to set up meetings and circulate your resume everywhere possible. You’re still in the game!
